60s Today is looking for writers based anywhere in the world. If you’re interested in contributing, please email the editor (Amy Balog) at with any pitches or completed articles. News stories should be between 300-600 words and album and gig reviews between 400-700 words in length. Features and interviews need to be at least 500 words, with no upper limit. Please include links to your previous work, if any (this is not a requirement).

As a contributor, you’ll be able to attend great shows for free in return for reviewing them. We’ll always include links to your social media pages and/or blog at the end of your articles, as well as share your work on our social media channels. This could be a great opportunity to showcase your writing if you don’t have your own blog or website. Those contributing quality pieces may be offered some compensation in a few months’ time, as 60s Today is a very new website.
