Kite flier seriously injured when kite hits power lines

BREMERTON, Wash. – A person is in essential situation after being shocked whereas kite flying in a Bremerton park.

Brad Richard, chief of the Bremerton Battalion, stated the person had a makeshift kite made from metal rope and a fishing rod fly at round 7 p.m. on Sunday in Evergreen Rotary Park.

The kite drifted into Puget Sound Power’s excessive vitality transmission traces and shocked the person. He was badly burned, KPCQ reported.

He was flown to Harborview Medical Heart and is in essential situation, Richard stated.

Hearth officers stated this was a somber reminder to not fly a kite close to energy traces.
