5 black officers from the College of Washington Police Division have filed racism lawsuits in opposition to the division demanding $ eight million in damages for alleging routinely insulted and humiliated by employees and supervisors.

Officers mentioned the College of Washington police chief John Vinson, who can be black, has been repeatedly criticized by white officers for hiring too many blacks.
